1. What makes a kit "advanced" instead of intermediate?
Piece count and build time. Advanced kits often pass 350 pieces and take 8 hours or more to build, compared to 150 to 350 pieces and 6 to 8 hours at intermediate level.
2. How long does an advanced kit take to build?
Most advanced kits take 8 to 12 or more hours, often spread across a few sittings rather than finished in one.
3. Do advanced kits include mechanical details?
Select kits do. Check the individual product page to confirm, since this varies by kit rather than applying across the whole collection.
4. Should I build beginner or intermediate kits first?
It helps. Advanced kits assume you're comfortable with layered assembly and a longer build, which beginner and intermediate kits are designed to build up to.
5. Are advanced book nook kits different from advanced miniature or puzzle kits?
The piece count and build time standards are the same across product types at this tier, though the specific build experience differs by category. Check the individual product page for details.
